Overview:

Firebird is an open source relational database that is freely distributed for no additional setup costs and licensing fees.The ANPR110 software package also includes a serial communications engine to easily integrate the ACRT110 Multipurpose Tag and ARCR110 Reader, allowing the user to combine these individual technologies solid security solution.The package is designed to be used commercially or privately and is scalable to suit the different needs.

The administrator can manage user accounts and permissions for different staff members.The View terminal is an easy to use tool that allows the user to quickly filter data and print or save reports in various formats. The data is displayed in grid format that is fully customizable.

Functionality:

As a vehicle drives up to the gate, the ARCT110 Tag wirelessly transmits a unique identifier that is received by the ARCR110 reader; the software then looks up the predefined corresponding number plate in the database and waits for a number plate recognition, as the vehicle stops at the gate, the number plate is recognized by the software and compared to the number plate associated with the tag. If the number plate and tag matches, a snapshot of the car along with time stamps and predefined information is saved to the database as access history. This information can then be viewed on the server or through a network connection by the client view terminal application. The gate is then opened to let the user in.

Features:

The ARCR110 Reader contains a built in Relay which can be connected to any type of gate or I/O device. This enables the system to automatically open the gate when a number plate is recognized and verified. The system also has a manual override feature that allows the security personnel to manually open the gate if there is a need. In the case of a manual override, the system will take a snapshot of the car that the gate was opened for and log the information to the database. This feature ensures that in the event that a car was granted access manually, the administrator can
